Meet Derek
Owner & Operator
Following graduation from Florida State University, I lived with my grandparents for a short period of time leading up to my wedding. While living with them, I was astounded by the decades of memories in the form of prints and film that were collecting dust in shoeboxes. I decided to help preserve their memories and digitized thousands of photos and hours of video to help preserve their legacy. It is now my mission to help more families tackle this important task of converting their VHS tapes, audio cassettes, 8mm film, and more to digital!
Services/Prices
It is important to me to offer reasonable prices so that it is not a burden for families to preserve their legacies. I offer more affordable rates than the larger digitization companies with unmatched customer service. I am an expert at converting your VHS tapes, audio cassettes, 8mm film, and more to digital. If you have a service requested that is not listed below, do not hesitate to reach out!
Video Tapes
I convert VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, & Hi8 tapes at $20 per tape. Your tapes will be converted into .mp4 files.
Disc Transfers
Whether you want your DVD or CD disc converted to digital or your new digital copies in a disc form, the charge is $10 per disc.
Audio Tapes
I convert audio cassettes at $20 per tape. Your tapes will be converted into .mp3 files.
Video Creations
Do you have a unique request that will require combining multiple forms of media? For video creations I charge $30 per hour.
Film Reels
I convert 8mm film (no audio) at $30 per 3" reel, $40 per 5" reel, & $50 per 7" reel. Your films will be converted into .mp4 files.
Repairs
If your tapes or film require a repair in order to be recordable, I charge $30 per repair. If repair is not successful, you will not be charged.
Each job has a $50 minimum charge. Every new customer will be charged a one-time $20 thumb drive charge. This thumb drive will contain your digitized media. Additional thumb drive copies can be purchased at $5 per thumb drive.
This is a great service and Derek did an amazing job with my old VHS tapes. He was so patient with all my technical questions and made the process easy to understand. Prices are more than reasonable, but being able to relive these memories was priceless! I would highly recommend this company and look forward to doing more business with the future.

Step 1
Organize/Contact
Text or call me at (813) 763-5817 to schedule a time you can drop off your items. I operate out of my home-office right next to Leon High School. Exact location will be given when contacted. Address listed on Google Maps is not exact address.
Step 2
Drop-Off
Once we have scheduled a time window for you to drop off your items, drop off your video tapes, audio cassettes, and 8mm film at that schedule time. You can expect a turnaround time of 1-2 weeks depending on the size of your job. No payment due at this time.
Step 3
Pick-up
Once your digitization process is complete, I will notify you via text or call letting you know your items are available for pickup. An invoice with payment instructions listed (cash, check, tap-to-pay card or Venmo) will be given. You will receive all of your original items back plus your brand new thumb drive which will contain all of your digitized memories.
